IDEMIA's biometric systems are built on state-of-the-art algorithms, consistently ranking among the top in independent benchmark evaluations such as NIST FRVT (Facial Recognition Vendor Test)  

Biometric data protection and compliance

Security is at the core of IDEMIA’s biometric solutions. All biometric data is encrypted, securely stored, and processed in compliance with international data protection regulations, including GDPR. IDEMIA’s systems support liveness detection and anti-spoofing mechanisms (iBeta quality assured) to prevent unauthorized access through presentation attacks or forged biometrics.

We store this data and or allow configuration by our client's dependant of their requirements, with the default being a year. All end user data is stored in secure data centres, and we do not use it for training any AI models.
